Membership General Questions


  1. Q: Who is the Network Of Allied Health (NAH)? 

A: The Network Of Allied Health is a Phlebotomy Certifying agency that provides national exams for Phlebotomists. However, if you are already working in the field for a minimum of (3) months  you may qualify for our Grandfathered Policy no written test is required.  However, a skill exam will be administered to ensure safety skills are performed.

2. Q: What accreditation or partnerships does NAH hold? 

A: The Network Of Allied Health (NAH) is a partnership with Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE) . 

3. Q: What makes you eligible to sit for the National Exam with NAH? 

A: An individual that completed a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy was included into the program such as a medical assistant program. If you have been working drawing blood for at least three (3) months, you will qualify for our Grandfathered Policy. 

4. Q. Will members have benefits? 

A. Yes, please see some of our membership benefits.

5. Q. What score is needed to pass the Network Of Allied Health ( NAH) exam? 

A. Passing score is 70 percent which is combined with the practical and theory exam that will be proctored by a NAH-trained team member. However, those who qualify under grandfathered policy must score a minimum of 85% to pass the practical skills exam.

6. Q. Will my instructor administer the practical and theory exam? 

A. No, the Network of Allied Health has a no conflict of interest policy.  Which means your instructor will not qualify to administer either theory exam and/or practical exam.

7. Q. When do I have to renew? 

A.  Every two years. Your renewal date will be two years after your starting certified date. A notification will be sent to your  email address that is on file in your Network of Allied Health (NAH) membership portable when your renewal time is near.

8.  Q. What do I have to do before I renew? 

A. Complete eight CME (Continuing Medical Education) hours with Network Of Allied Health ( NAH) or another company, if you decide to do CMEs with another company please contact us for further instruction. 

9.  Q. How long will it take for me to receive my test results? 

A. One (1) to two (2) days and NAH will email you the test results directly. In most cases results will be sent by 12 midnight of the day the exam was taken.

10.  Q. Will I receive any documents from NAH? 

A. Yes, inside your Network Of Allied Health (NAH) membership portal account you created. You must pass with a 70 percent or higher, you will be issued an NCPT number and you will be able to upload your NCPT membership card under your online membership profile. Passing score for Grandfathered Policy is a minimum of 85%.

11.  Q. What makes the Network Of Allied Health different from other certifying organizations? 

A. The Network Of Allied Health will service registered examine attendees from 1 to 100 or more.  Yes, our headquarters is in the state of Maryland but we travel and service our members with upfront concierge service at no additional fee to members or schools. Our top focus is evaluating the skills. We are not only concerned with passing a written or computer exam. The Network Of Allied Health (NAH) understands your skill is what employers see that will impact patients either positively or negatively. We not only help and assist you in finding a job in the phlebotomy field but if you are not successful in your job search we will assist in building your own phlebotomy business company by referring you to Black Enterprize Consulting or any other training you will like to advance your phlebotomy career.

12.  Q. If I have a problem with a job regarding my certification, what should I do? 

A. If you have any problem with a job with your certification, please review our complaint instructions and we will try to resolve it immediately.  The Network Of Allied Health (NAH) stands by its members and employers.
